Former Southeastern Channel news reporter-anchor Lorraine Weiskopf has been hired as a TV news reporter at WXXV-TV Ch. 25 (FOX/NBC) in Gulfport/Biloxi, Ms. (DMA 159). At the Southeastern Channel Weiskopf has been a reporter-anchor for the national award-winning newscast, “Northshore News”. Recently she anchored and reported for the live weekly newscast, “Northshore News Update: Coronavirus on the North Shore”, selected winner of the national College Coronavirus Coverage Award given by the Society of Professional Journalists in conjunction with College Broadcasters, Inc., the Association of Collegiate Press, and the Society for News Design.
