Former Southeastern Channel producer-director Amanda Triay has been hired as a marketing producer for WAFB-TV Ch. 9 (CBS) in Baton Rouge. Triay produced, directed, shot and edited the Emmy Award-winning short film, “Insomniac” while at the Channel with an Emmy nomination for the music video, “Heathens”. At the Channel she also produced the entertainment show, “Cinematheque”, segments for “Northshore News” and “College Night”, and a documentary short. She shot and edited a variety of Southeastern Channel projects.
