A Southeastern Channel live basketball broadcast production has been named fourth best in the nation by the Broadcast Education Association (BEA) at its national 2018 Festival of Media Arts student competition. The Channel won from 1,541 total entries across the nation for its December 14, 2017 broadcast of Southeastern’s men’s game with Southern University of New Orleans. The Channel’s student announcers were John Sartori on play-by-play, Wesley Boone as color analyst, and Dylan Domangue as courtside reporter. Freddie Rosario was the production director.
