Former Southeastern Channel videographer-editor Drew Sagona has been promoted to News Content Specialist at WDAM-TV Ch. 7 (NBC/ABC) in Hattiesburg, Ms. (DMA 168). As News Content Specialist, Sagona handles floor directing, Chyron graphics and audio for WDAM daily newscasts. Recently promoted from his Associate Producer position at WDAM, Sagona is also training as the Newscast Director, having already directed one newscast for air. Sagona also freelances as a motion graphics animator/video editor/videographer for the Brandcast Marketing and Creative in Ponchatoula. A 2015 Southeastern graduate, at the Southeastern Channel Sagona produced the award-winning documentary “Drums Along the River” while also shooting and editing a variety of projects using motion graphics.
