Former Southeastern Channel news producer Jordan Reid is currently producing the 5 pm newscast at KATC-TV (ABC) Ch. 3 in Lafayette (DMA 120). . Formerly a producer-reporter for the Southeastern Channel’s award-winning student newscast, Northshore News, Reid was hired by KATC right after graduation and has been producing the 10 pm. newscast for the past year. KATC was recently named Louisiana’s “Best Small Market TV Station” by the Louisiana Association of Broadcasters. While at the Southeastern Channel, Reid also produced the sketch comedy show, “College Night”, and directed, shot and edited live sports and music events.
