Former Southeastern Channel producer, videographer and editor Drew Sagona is now the studio director for newscasts at WDAM-TV Ch. 7 (NBC/ABC) in Hattiesburg, Ms. (DMA 168). At WDAM Sagona has also served as producer. In addition, he’s a freelance motion graphics animator/editor/videographer/content writer for the Tony Trinh Design Group of Ponchatoula. At the Southeastern Channel, Sagona directed “Northshore News” newscasts for the Comm 357: TV Studio Operations class. He also produced the award-winning documentary, “Drums Along the River”, while also editing a variety of projects using motion graphics.
