Former Southeastern Channel reporter-anchor Zechariah Cameron has been hired as a studio operations technician for WBRZ-TV Ch. 2 (ABC) in Baton Rouge, La. (DMA 93). At WBRZ Cameron handles video editing and studio graphics, camera, and teleprompter operation along with floor directing duties for the 4 and 5 pm. weekday newscasts and on weekends for the 6 and 10 pm. newscasts. At the Southeastern Channel Cameron was a reporter-anchor for the national award-winning “Big Game” student sportscast and the “Southeastern Times” newsmagazine. He also worked on “Northshore News” and handled camera operation on the Channel’s live sports event productions.
