Former Southeastern Channel videographer-editor Daron Short is the Senior Motion Designer and Editor at the advertising firm The Moran Group in Baton Rouge where he designs and produces visual graphics for various automotive dealerships on both digital and traditional platforms. A 2011 graduate of Southeastern, Short has been with The Moran Group for five years now and works on anything from producing television commercials and animation web banners to building branding and graphics packages for clients. Short has created regional Honda commercials along with commercials for the #1 Chevrolet dealership in the nation and the #1 Tundra dealership in the nation. In addition to working at The Moran Group, Short operates a side company at ShortCreative.net to facilitate endeavors, including animations, for clients outside of automotive.

He created graphics and packages for episodes of the student entertainment shows “College Night” and “Cinematheque” as well as the student sportscast, “The Big Game”, and newscast, “Northshore News.” His show open for “Cinematheque” is still used today.
