Former Southeastern broadcasting student Jeff Horchak and his KLFY-TV (Lafayette) “Passe’ Partout” team were recently honored by the Louisiana Association of Broadcasters for “Best Television Morning Show” at the LAB’s annual Prestige Awards luncheon in Lafayette. Horchak has been Co-Anchor and Reporter for the live show for five years now after having started at KLFY as Sports Anchor and Sports Reporter. A 2003 graduate of Southeastern, Horchak initially worked as News Reporter at KLTV Ch. 7 (ABC) in Tyler, Tx. (DMA 114) followed by a stint as Sports Director at KALB-TV Ch. 5 (CBS) in Alexandria, La. (DMA 179) before moving to KLFY-TV in Lafayette (DMA 121).
