Former Southeastern Channel reporter-anchor Jordan Rheams has been promoted to producing the 12-noon newscast at WBRZ-TV (ABC) Ch. 2 in Baton Rouge (DMA 97). Rheams moves to the noon newscast after one and a half years producing the 7 am. newscast of 2uneIn on WBRZ-Plus. He was hired as a producer by WBRZ while still a student at Southeastern in February 2018. While at the Southeastern Channel, Rheams was a reporter-anchor for “The Big Game” student sportscast and a reporter for the award-winning student newscast, “Northshore News”. He was also an award-winning videographer-editor, winning Associated Press College Broadcasters honors for “Videography” and a Mark of Excellence award for “Sports Videography” given by the Society of Professional Journalists.
