WGNO-TV Ch. 26 in New Orleans (ABC) visited the Southeastern Channel Tuesday to shoot a special segment on the Channel’s national award-winning, live game student broadcast team which will have its second football broadcast of the young season air on ESPN+ this coming Saturday night, Sept. 21, when the Lions host Lamar. Emmy-winning features reporter “Wild Bill” Wood of WGNO’s “News with a Twist” eavesdropped on the crew’s broadcast prep session in the Southeastern Channel control room where he interviewed student game broadcast director Dylan Domangue of Houma and interacted with crew members. Wood also interviewed student play-by-play announcer John Sartori of Mandeville on the Southeastern Channel’s studio anchor desk. The segment will air during the 6 pm.
