Three former Southeastern Channel sportscasters joined forces to cover the Independence Bowl between UAB and BYU Saturday in Shreveport. Included were (from left) Chris Mycoskie, Wesley Boone, and John Sartori. Mycoskie was the sideline reporter for Bowl Season Radio (national broadcast) while Boone, currently the Sports Director-Anchor at KTAL-TV Ch. 6 in Shreveport, and Sartori, also at KTAL as Sports Anchor-Reporter, covered the game for their NBC affiliate which spans three states. Mycoskie, Boone, and Sartori all were sports anchor-reporters for “The Big Game” student sportscast and announced Southeastern game broadcasts while at the Southeastern Channel.
