Former Southeastern Channel producer-videographer-editor Christopher LeCoq has been hired as a Videographer-Editor for Louisiana Public Broadcasting (LPB) in Baton Rouge (DMA 94). LPB is the state network of the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) service with stations in Baton Rouge (WLPB), New Orleans (WLAE), Lafayette (KLPB), Shreveport (KLTS), Monroe (KLTM), Alexandria (KLPA), and Lake Charles (KLTL). LeCoq is the lead editor and graphics creator for LPB’s weekly flagship program, “Louisiana: The State We’re In”. He’s also the videographer for LPB special projects and documentaries, including the national PBS documentary, “Why Louisiana Ain’t Mississippi…Or Any Place Else”, hosted by former La. Lieutenant Governor Jay Dardenne. In addition, LeCoq is the lead drone videographer for LPB. Along with his LPB duties, LeCoq still operates his national award-winning company, Full Frame Media Productions, where he co-produces the Louisiana outdoors show, Bayou Wild TV, winner of national Telly and Communicator awards. Bayou Wild TV airs weekly on the Southeastern Channel and on Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Lafayette, and Lake Charles television stations and on EATEL and VISION cable systems in south Louisiana. LeCoq also continues his work for the SEC Network as a freelance camera operator for game broadcasts and as the producer of digital content for the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame.
While at the Southeastern Channel, LeCoq shot, edited, wrote, produced, and directed a variety of projects, receiving a professional Emmy nomination from the Suncoast Region of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences while still a student for his video editing of the Joe Burns lecture, “Paul is Dead”, about legendary rumors of the death of the Beatles’ Paul McCartney in the 1960s.
