Student-produced films at the Southeastern Channel recently were recently honored at the 2017 WorldFest International Film and Video Festival in Houston, Tx. With over 4,000 entries from across the world in competition at North America’s longest-running film festival, Channel student filmmakers Mason Dauphin, Jordan Reid, Jeremy Rhodes, Sarah Barbier, C.J. Love and Steven Farmer were honored. “The Messenger” won a first-place Gold Remi Award while “Fugue” won a Bronze Remi and its screenplay won a Silver Remi. The music video “Perfect” also won a Bronze Remi.
