Two Southeastern Channel students recently won top awards at the College Media Association film festival in Dallas. Tara Barbe, a “Northshore News” reporter, and producer, won second place in the Video News category for her Southeastern Channel story on the campus tribute to Martin Luther King, Jr. Courtney Bruno, producer, director, and editor of the entertainment show, “College Night”, won third place in the Creative Video category for her comedy segment,”The Channel”.
