Legendary news reporter Rick Rowe of KTBS-TV in Shreveport will visit the Southeastern Channel Friday to present, “40 Years of Television”, at 10 am. in University Center Room 133. “40 Years of Television” spans Rowe’s career as he covers the many content, structural and technological changes in TV over that time period. Rowe was recently named the state’s “Best Photojournalist” by the Louisiana Association of Broadcasters (LAB) and also won first place for Best Documentary Series. Rowe has worked four decades as a TV news reporter and videographer in Shreveport, but his stories have carried him around the world. He’s widely considered an incredible storyteller- especially for his feature stories and riveting visuals.
