The Southeastern Channel recently won two Bronze Telly Awards for a telecourse produced and edited by Southeastern Channel telecourse producer Jamie Bass. The channel won Tellys for Bass’s work in both “Editing” and “Use of Graphics” categories for the telecourse, “Earth Science 102: Episode 11”, taught by physics professor Stephanie Welch. Bass, a previous Telly winner, produces, directs, shoots and edits a wide variety of programming for the Southeastern Channel. The course is broadcast on Charter Spectrum 199 and is streamed on the channel’s live 24-7 webcast at thesoutheasternchannel.com. Individual episodes can be viewed On Demand by students enrolled in the class. The channel offers a plethora of courses in Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Psychology, English, History, Communication, Social Science, and Education.
