Former Southeastern Channel reporter-anchor Michael Vinsanau has been promoted to North Shore Bureau Chief at WDSU-TV Channel 6 (NBC) in New Orleans (DMA 52). In his new position Vinsanau is on the air live every night at 4, 5, and 6 reporting from a remote location on the North Shore. A multiple award-winning reporter, including an honorable mention student Emmy, for the student newscast, “Northshore News” while at the Southeastern Channel, Vinsanau has been at WDSU since 2017 when he started as Morning Reporter. Prior to that he was Morning Reporter and Producer for WBRZ-TV Channel 2 (ABC) in Baton Rouge (DMA 94). He graduated from Southeastern in May of 2015.
