Former Southeastern Channel student film director-editor Stephen Pfeil is currently a motion picture editor for television movies produced by the SyFY Network, Hallmark Channel, and Lifetime Network along with feature films produced for independent movie companies Worklight Pictures and Big Easy Pictures in New Orleans. Pfeil’s recent credits as head Film Editor include the feature film Easy Does It and the SyFy movie Trailer Park Shark. Pfeil has also been Editorial Assistant on Hollywood hit movies Fantastic Four, Jack Reacher: Never Go Back, and Trumbo. As an independent film director, Pfeil’s films include Amongst Strangers and Does God Hear Robots Pray?. As a Southeastern Channel director-editor, Pfeil won a student Emmy Award in the Suncoast Region for his comic documentary, Glazed: The University Donuts Story, which appeared in the student film show “Cinematheque”. He also produced the film short The Letter of Marcus Graves for the class, “Comm 260: Field Video Production and Editing”.
