Former Southeastern Channel videographer-editor Jeremy Rhodes has been hired as a marketing producer by WAFB-TV (CBS) Ch. 9 in Baton Rouge (DMA 92). Rhodes will produce promotional spots, commercials and other productions for WAFB’s creative services department. At WAFB Rhodes joins fellow Southeastern Channel alum Amanda Triay, who was recently promoted to the Senior Marketing Producer position. Rhodes moves to WAFB from Louisiana Hometown Productions in Baton Rouge where he was a videographer-editor. After graduating from Southeastern in 2017, Rhodes initially worked as a video editor for the Focus Worldwide TV Network, a Covington production house that creates Catholic-based programming with religious, entertainment, cultural and news offerings. While at the Southeastern Channel, Rhodes edited a variety of programs for broadcast. He wrote, produced, directed, edited and acted for the award-winning entertainment shows “College Night” and “Cinematheque”. Rhodes also won a national Videographer Award and a Gold Remi Award at the WorldFest International Film Festival.
