Former Southeastern Channel producer-director Amanda Triay recently produced, shot and edited a commercial which aired during the Super Bowl. As senior Marketing Producer in Creative Services at WAFB-TV Ch. 9 (CBS) in Baton Rouge (DMA 93), Triay writes, produces, directs, shoots and edits a variety of promos and spots for WAFB and its clients. At the Southeastern Channel, Triay won multiple awards for projects she wrote, produced and directed, including a student Emmy for the short film, “Insomniac”, and first-place regional awards for her short documentary, “To Speak Again”, at the WorldFest International Film and Video Festival and the Mark of Excellence regional awards given by the Society of Professional Journalists.
