Former Southeastern Channel news anchor-reporter Kourtney Williams has been hired as the Morning Reporter for WVLA-TV Ch. 33 (NBC) and WGMB-TV Ch. 44 (Fox) in Baton Rouge (DMA 93). Williams joins WVLA after two years as a reporter-anchor for The Delta News at WABG-TV Ch. 6 (ABC) in Greenwood, Ms. A December 2016 graduate of Southeastern, Williams was an anchor-reporter for the national award-winning student newscast, “Northshore News”, while at the Southeastern Channel.
