For the second year in a row, former Southeastern Channel news anchor-reporter Erika Ferrando has been named the top TV news reporter in a two-state region covering all of Arkansas and Oklahoma.

Former Southeastern Channel news reporter Tyler Hampton has been hired as a News Content Specialist at WAFB-TV Channel 9 (CBS) in Baton Rouge (DMA 97).

Former Southeastern Channel reporter-anchor Richie Mills has been hired as a TV news producer at WGNO-TV Channel 26 (ABC) in New Orleans (DMA 50).
SE CHANNEL STUDENTS WIN EMMY SCHOLARSHIPS
Southeastern Channel students Dylan Domangue of Houma, Amanda Kitch of Covington, and Alexis Minor of Baton Rouge have received prestigious Emmy scholarships from the Suncoast Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
HORCHAK’S MORNING SHOW HONORED
Former Southeastern broadcasting student Jeff Horchak and his KLFY-TV (Lafayette) “Passe’ Partout” team were recently honored by the Louisiana Association of Broadcasters for “Best Television Morning Show” at the LAB’s annual Prestige Awards luncheon in Lafayette.
