Former Southeastern Channel producer-director Amanda Triay has won a national Silver Telly award for a Christmas promo she recently produced, directed and edited for WAFB-TV (CBS) Ch. 9 in Baton Rouge.
WAGGENSPACK IS BATON ROUGE PRODUCER
Former Southeastern Channel news producer, reporter and anchor Tyler Waggenspack has been hired as a TV news producer in Baton Rouge (DMA 97) at WVLA-TV (NBC) Ch. 33 and WGMB-TV (FOX) Ch. 44.
DOMANGUE NOMINATED FOR AN EMMY
Southeastern Channel student sports anchor, reporter and producer Dylan Domangue has been nominated for a 2019 Suncoast Student Production Award in the Suncoast Emmy region given by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
KITCH WINS FOR ACHIEVEMENT IN TELEVISION
Former Southeastern Channel student news reporter, anchor, and producer Amanda Kitch has been named the recipient of the “Achievement in Television” award in Southeastern’s Department of Communication and Media Studies for the spring 2019 semester.
SARTORI TO DO PLAY-BY-PLAY IN NEBRASKA
Southeastern Channel sports anchor-reporter John Sartori will spend the summer doing play-by-play announcing in the Expedition League, the summer collegiate baseball league in the Great Plains region of the U.S. and Canada.
