Former Southeastern Channel videographer-editor Nick Elliot is currently a video producer and safety supervisor for IndustrialTX Corp., a construction company in Friendswood, Tx., a suburb of Houston. Elliott, who’s been with IndustrialTX since 2015, creates training videos for the company while heading up digital media, video producing, and managing the company’s communications and marketing budget. As Safety Supervisor to all personnel on site, he’s responsible for confined space entry, including compliance to OSHA regulations and equipment/materials purchase. Prior to IndustrialTX, Elliott was Video Editor, Videographer, and Manager of Systems (Analyst) for Express Energy Services in Houston for two years where he produced a number of training videos and the safety film, “Left Undone”. After graduating from Southeastern in 2011, Elliott’s first job was as a Videographer/Video Editor for Pelican Broadcasting in Baton Rouge. At the Southeastern Channel, Elliott was an award-winning videographer and editor of packages and entire episodes of the student newscast, “Northshore News”. He also shot and edited for the student sportscast, “The Big Game”, along with the student film show, “Cinematheque”, and the comedy show, “College Night”. Elliott shot and edited musical concerts, lectures, forums, and live sports events along with handling a variety of studio positions.
