“Pearl River Dam,” a news story produced by former Southeastern Channel reporter Amanda Kitch, has been named a national finalist as one of the top four in the nation for “Best Hard News Story” by College Broadcasters, Inc. for its 2019 National Student Production Awards to be held Nov. 2 in St. Louis.
The Southeastern Channel’s live football broadcast of the Southeastern-Abilene Christian game Oct. 18, 2018 in Strawberry Stadium has been honored as one of the top four live student game broadcasts in the country by College Broadcasters, Inc with its selection in the “Live Sports Broadcast” category for the 2019 National Student Production Awards to be held Nov. 2 in St. Louis.
The Southeastern Channel’s live student newscast, “Northshore News”, has added to its list of honors with acclaim from College Broadcasters, Inc. as one of four national finalists for “Best Newscast” at the 2019 National Student Production Awards to be held Nov. 2 in St. Louis.
