Former Southeastern Channel producer, videographer and editor, Tyler Guidroz, has been hired as Marketing Producer in the Creative Services department of WAFB-TV Ch. 9 (CBS) in Baton Rouge (DMA 93). As Marketing Producer, Guidroz will write, produce, direct, shoot and edit promos and commercials for WAFB News and commercial clients. Guidroz moves to WAFB from WDSU-TV Ch. 6 in New Orleans where he was a videographer-editor for Facebook Live on the WDSU Facebook page. At the Southeastern Channel Guidroz co-produced episodes of the national award-winning student comedy show, “College Night”, and he wrote, directed, shot, edited and acted in multiple sketch segments for the program. Guidroz was also a videographer for live game sports broadcasts that aired nationally on both the Southland Digital Network and Cox Sports Television Network in addition to the Southeastern Channel. He shot and edited a variety of projects, including lectures and music events, and he produced several episodes of the student film show, “Cinematheque”. Guidroz graduated from Southeastern in May of 2019.
