Former Southeastern Channel producer, director, videographer and editor Sarah Barbier Green has been hired as Videographer and Editor for the content creation and digital marketing company, Sigl Creative Marketing and Advertising (formerly LetsDevelop.tv) in Madisonville. At Sigl, Green is involved in all phases of video production (shooting interviews, B-roll) and postproduction (editing, motion graphics, animation) for promotional content for clients such as the Davie Shoring Children’s Hospital. Other projects that Green has edited include UT Arana. Before moving to Sigl Creative, Green was Digital Photographer/Editor for WDSU-TV Ch. 6 (NBC) news in New Orleans (DMA 50). Prior to working at WDSU (Hearst Entertainment), Green was a freelance videographer and full-time producer for Education Specialty Publishing in New Orleans. While at the Southeastern Channel, Green won numerous awards for producing, directing, videography and editing, including a student Emmy for “Directing” for her short film, “Emma”, honored by the Emmy Suncoast Region of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. She also won a Bronze Remi at the WorldFest International Film Festival for her 35-minute film, “Fugue”. In addition Green produced, wrote and directed a short promotional documentary for the doctoral program of the School of Nursing’s Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. A 2016 Southeastern graduate in Communication with a concentration in Electronic Media, Green produced, wrote and directed a Christmas special for the Southeastern Channel’s student comedy show, “College Night”, as well as episodes of the student short film, music video and documentary show, “Cinematheque”. She worked on a variety of educational, entertainment and promotional segments, spots and programs at the Channel.
