Former Southeastern Channel videographer-editor Santiago Rodriguez has been hired as a Marketing Producer in the Creative Services department of WAFB-TV Ch. 10 (CBS) in Baton Rouge (DMA 94). In his new position Rodriguez will produce, shoot and edit promos for WAFB along with commercials for WAFB’s outside clients.Prior to WAFB, Rodriguez worked as a graduate assistant for Southeastern’s Vice President for Student Advancement where he was producer, videographer and editor for the university’s alumni and marketing departments. He also worked as a Videographer and Motion Designer at Dixie RV Superstores. At the Southeastern Channel Rodriguez shot and edited for a variety of channel programs, including “Cinematheque”, “College Night”, “Northshore News”, “The Big Game,” faculty lectures and forums, and music, entertainment and sports events. He also produced the student film and music video show, “Cinematheque”.
