Former Southeastern Channel videographer-editor Darren Waller has worked in post-production for EFILM in Hollywood for the past 13 years. In this capacity, Waller is the Home Entertainment Coordinator handling video deliverables and digital dailies on major motion pictures for EFILM, one of the most advanced digital laboratories in the world and a pioneer in digital imaging for motion pictures. EFILM’s clients include major film studios, independent filmmakers, advertisers, animators, visual effects companies, and large format filmmakers. Waller handles specifications needed for REC709, HDR color correction, pan/scan, and/or digital video and audio deliveries to all major and independent studios. He has served as Production Coordinator at EFILM and also freelances for Fisher Film Works in set and lighting design for professional music videos and assists as a camera operator-editor for various independent productions. A 2007 graduate of Southeastern, while at the Southeastern Channel Waller directed, shot and edited comedy segments and music videos for the award-winning entertainment shows, “College Night” and “Cinematheque”. He also shot and edited a variety of other Southeastern Channels productions such as lectures, forums, and music events.
