Former Southeastern Channel producer-videographer Chris Lecoq has won three national awards for episodes of his outdoors show, “Bayou Wild“, including two Telly Awards and one Communicator Award. LeCoq won a Silver Telly for “The Old Man and the Marsh“, a segment about the life and fishing legacy of a Louisiana angler who has been fishing for nearly 100 years. LeCoq also won a Bronze Telly for his documentary, “Ride the Bull Kayak Rodeo: A Look at the Past Ten Years“, about the annual kayak rodeo held at Grand Isle. In addition, LeCoq brought home a Communicator Award of Excellence for “Adventures on the Kenai“, a program about the annual BayouWildTV trip to Alaska’s Kenai province to explore (use attached- alaska drone 1) the unique scenery, fishing and culture.
