“End of Darkness,” Season One’s culminating episode of the supernatural thriller miniseries, “Darkstalkers”, created by former Southeastern Channel filmmaker Jeremy Gaines, will debut on the channel at 9:30 pm. this Friday night, July 10th. The sizzling episode climaxes with a lightning sword fight to the finish between the immortal Darkstalker Eric Normand (Gaines) and his powerful demon counterpart, Abraxas (Justin Davis). Viewers will be able to watch all four of the spellbinding episodes back-to-back beginning at 8:30 pm. Friday with the final episode, “End of Darkness”, airing at 9:30 pm. The same broadcast schedule will hold true when “Darkstalkers” airs Sunday, July 12th and Tuesday, July 14th. Gaines, who graduated from Southeastern in May of 2019, stars in the miniseries along with writing, producing, directing, and editing episodes of the show which flashes cutting-edge special effects. Gaines recently moved to Los Angeles as a freelance director after working as a Video Producer for Performance Contractors in Baton Rouge. While at the Southeastern Channel Gaines also wrote, produced, directed, shot, edited and acted in comedy segments for the student comedy series, “College Night”, which was named first in the nation for “Best Video Comedy” by College Broadcasters, Inc. at the 2018 National Student Production Awards in Seattle. CBI also honored Gaines with second place in the country for Best Video Public Service Announcement for his PSA, “Proud Dad“. In addition, Gaines shot a variety of educational programs and live sports and music events for the Southeastern Channel.
