SOUTHEASTERN CHANNEL HAS FIVE NATIONAL FINALISTS

The Southeastern Channel has been named a National Finalist as one of the top four in the nation in five different categories for the 2020 National Student Production Awards presented by College Broadcasters, Inc.

Former Southeastern Channel news and sports anchor-reporter Taylor Rubach, now the prime-time news anchor for WXXV-TV Ch. 25 (FOX/NBC) in Gulfport/Biloxi, Ms., has been anchoring WXXV daily newscasts with storm coverage along the Gulf Coast.

Former Southeastern Channel news and sports anchor-reporter Jaylon Morris, now morning news anchor and reporter for WXXV-TV Ch. 25 (FOX/NBC) in Gulfport/Biloxi, Ms., and host of the station’s popular “In Your Shoes” segment”, has been anchoring WXXV daily newscasts with storm coverage along the Gulf Coast.
