Former Southeastern Channel videographer-editor Johnmarie Bougere has been hired as Assistant News Specialist at WVUE-TV FOX 8 in New Orleans (DMA 41). In her new role, Bougere handles a variety of duties for live FOX 8 newscasts, including operating Chryon graphics along with writing VOs and newscast teases. Bougere graduated in May 2021 as a Communication major with a concentration in Television and Multimedia Journalism. At the Southeastern Channel, she worked as a news reporter for the national award-winning newscast “Northshore News” along with serving as videographer-editor for numerous Channel productions, including a variety of Southeastern Channel productions, including promos, station IDs, public service announcements, the student comedy show, “College Night”, and live multi-camera broadcasts of performance events and forums.
