Southeastern Channel director-videographer-editor Joseph Trosclair has been honored with 1st Place as “Best College Advertising Staff Member in the South” out of 30 universities covering an eight-state region of the southeast U.S., including Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, Alabama, Tennessee, South Caroline, Georgia, and Florida. The award was presented at the 2021 “Best of South Awards” given by the Southeast Journalism Conference (SEJC) in a virtual ceremony. Trosclair won for three spots he produced, directed, shot, and edited for the Southeastern Channel. They include the promo “Halloween at the Southeastern Channel” along with the PSAs “Buzzed Driving” and “Group Assignment”.
