Former Southeastern Channel sports anchor-reporter Dylan Domangue, now Sports Director at KALB-TV Ch. 5 (NBC) in Alexandria, La., has been honored by the Louisiana Association of Broadcasters with “Best Sports Show” presented by the LAB at its 2023 Prestige Awards banquet in Baton Rouge, La. Domangue’s KALB sports show won in the state’s small market division. It was the second time in the past three years that KALB has won the state’s top award for best television sports show. Domangue also anchors and reports for his daily KALB sportscast, and he contributed to KALB winning the small market award for “Best Investigative Report”. In addition to his sports duties, Domangue is a popular fixture for news in the Alexandria area as both Evening News Anchor and Morning Reporter for KALB. A May 2020 graduate of Southeastern, Domangue won numerous awards while at the Southeastern Channel, including multiple national and regional honors.
