Southeastern Channel anchor-reporter Wesley Boone has been named 2018 Louisiana Student Broadcaster of the Year by the Louisiana Association of Broadcasters from all television and radio students in the state.

Former Southeastern Channel videographer-editor Jeremy Rhodes has been hired as a video editor by the Focus Worldwide TV Network, a Covington production house that creates Catholic-based programming with religious, entertainment, cultural and news offerings.
