The Southeastern Channel has been honored with 1st Place in the nation by College Broadcasters, Inc. in its 2017 National Student Production Awards.
The Southeastern Channel was honored with 1st Place in the nation this past weekend at the College Broadcasters, Inc. 2017 National Student Production Awards at the annual National Student Electronic Media Convention in San Antonio.
The Southeastern Channel’s Tara Barbe and Courtney Bruno recently won top awards at the College Media Association film festival in Dallas.
The Southeastern Channel student sportscast, “The Big Game”, was recently named one of the top four student sportscasts in the country at the College Sports Media Awards in Atlanta.
Student-produced films at the Southeastern Channel recently were recently honored at the 2017 WorldFest International Film and Video Festival in Houston, Tx.
Former Southeastern Channel producer, videographer and editor Chris LeCoq has been honored for the third year in a row with “Best Outdoor TV Show in Louisiana” for his weekly show, “Paradise, Louisiana” which he produces, shoots and edits.
Former award-winning Southeastern Channel and “Northshore News”, anchor-reporter Erika Ferrando has been nominated for a prestigious professional Emmy award by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for the Mid-America Region.
