For the 11th time, the Southeastern Channel has been recognized as the “Best College Television Station in the South”.
Rick Settoon, the Southeastern Channel’s general manager since its inception over 20 years ago who led it to become one of the elite college television stations in the nation, will be retiring from the channel and Southeastern Louisiana University effective August 5th.

Southeastern Channel sports reporter Taylor Nettle of Lacombe has been named Student Broadcaster of the Year in Television by the Louisiana Association of Broadcasters (LAB) recently at their 2023 Prestige Awards luncheon in Baton Rouge.
